To host a creative online process with health experts, storytellers, and community leaders that generates communication products for diabetes awareness building and prevention in India.
The initiative brings health and communication leaders from all regions of India together in a virtual Storyteller Lab, to build innovative communication products for diabetes awareness through a team-based approach. The Storyteller Lab will include up to 50 participants, including Indian storytellers, community leaders, WDF partner representatives, health experts, and media representatives, who go through a facilitated design process to come up with innovative and cutting-edge communication products and initiatives to support the broader knowledge sharing around diabetes prevention and treatment in India.During the Lab, each team will develop clear strategies, messages, storylines, and products that can easily be adopted and reach end users through the designated media channels. The products can range from written articles, online campaigns, and podcasts to documentaries. To ensure successful and impactful implementation, Dalberg Media will provide both overall and tailored support to the groups, as the products will differ in needs of support. After completing the Storyteller Lab the teams will pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. The most promising solutions will be selected based on an assessment of impact potential, feasibility, and quality. After the judging the winner and runner up will receive a seed contribution to initiate implementation of the idea.
