We are aware of various scams via email, phone, text, and social media that use the World Diabetes Foundation’s name and likeness. These scams may include logos, languages, pictures, information, and links from our official website.

Emails from the World Diabetes Foundation (WDF) originate only from @worlddiabetesfoundation.org. We do not conduct business via personal emails, messaging apps, or unsolicited DMs.

WDF’s grant application process is free. We will never ask you to pay any application, review, processing, or “expedited” fees.

WDF does not solicit donations via gift cards, crypto, or bank logins. Donate only via our donation page.

WDF does not endorse or promote products, services, subscriptions, or investment opportunities outside of our official, publicly listed projects.

WDF does not work with external agents, brokers, or fundraising agencies unless expressly confirmed in writing by an official WDF colleague using an @worlddiabetesfoundation.org email.

Financial loss and identity theft can result from the transfer of money or personal information to those issuing such fraudulent correspondence. WDF is not responsible for any such loss or theft.
