Professor Ib Bygbjerg

Professor Bygbjerg is also a member of the Danish International Development Assistance's (DANIDA) Research Council and of numerous professional bodies, including the World Federation for Medical Education, the International Board of the Danish Red Cross and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.

His involvement in such organisations has prompted extensive travel within the developing world and he has spent significant lengths of time in India, Tanzania and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
