Ongoing projects

Presently the World Diabetes Foundation supports 177 ongoing projects in developing countries. The total project portfolio to date amounts to USD 230.7 million of which USD 77.4 million have been donated by the World Diabetes Foundation.

The remainder constitutes partner contribution either cash or in kind.

Assuming that all projects have the intended impact, the projects may potentially influence diabetes awareness and treatment of 72 million people directly.

Out of the 177 projects, 2 have a global perspective and 175 focus on geographical regions or specific countries in those regions:
