Presently the World Diabetes Foundation supports 131 ongoing projects in developing countries. The total project portfolio to date amounts to USD 170.1 million of which USD 50.5 million have been donated by the World Diabetes Foundation.
The remainder constitutes partner contribution either cash or in kind.
Assuming that all projects have the intended impact, the projects may potentially influence diabetes awareness and treatment of 63.9 million people directly.
