In Turkey the Local Diabetes Association organised Walks in 23 cities with the total participation of 2300 people. Asist.Proff. M. Sait Gonen, MD from the Konya Turkish Diabetes Association took these pictures in Konya where 300 people took part in a Walk organised on World Diabetes Day 2007.
Many monuments was lit in blue light to show their support for the World Diabetes Day campaign, including the bridge in Istanbul Bosporus Bridge!
