The Diabetes Summit was held on the 29th-30th of June 2007
Minister of Health from Guinea-Conakry, Madame. Sangaré, was one of several honourable guests attending the Summit.
230 delegates from 25 African countries participated at the Diabetes Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.

Screening and patients
The WDF Board of Directors (Board member Lars Rebien Soerensen in blue shirt) visited the screening camp held by the DMI project team in Kenya.
Diabetes screening camps help raise awareness and detect many new cases of diabetes.
One of the 10.4 million people living with diabetes in Africa today.
