15 members of Group Internal Audit from Novo Nordisk A/S participated in the Global Diabetes Walk. Walking with them were 60 children from Bagsværd School.

Bagsvaerd - NovoSund

200 walkers took part in the GDW2006 event organised by NovoSund, a group within Novo Nordisk dedicated to promoting health and fitness throughout the organisation.

According to walk coordinator Martin Kristiansen, after a night of heavy rain, he planned a new route to avoid the biggest puddles. Judging by the pictures from the walk, they must have been very big! Still, it demonstrates that regular exercise does not mean "just when the sun is shining...".

Gentofte

Here are some photos from the Hagedorn Research Institute celebration of WDD walking around Lake Gentofte, a total of some four kilometers. Two of 30 participants chose to run around the lake twice instead of walking!

Nina and friend walking in the Selskoven woods, showing small walks are just as much a part of the Global Diabetes Walk as the ones with thousands of participants!

Munkebo

In the picture below, the mayor is receiving a drawing from Kevin and his twin brother Sune, both diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Afterwards they all join the Global Diabetes Walk.
