Ida Nicolaisen

Ms Nicolaisen is a Senior Research Fellow at the Nordic institute of Asian Studies at Copenhagen University and is an acclaimed expert in cultural anthropology, socio-economic development and holds a great expertise of the challenges in the developing countries.

Ida Nicolaisen serves on several boards such as the United Nations Permanent Forum of Indigenous Issues, DANIDA, the Foundation of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Frederik and International Human Rights.

Furthermore, Ms Nicolaisen is conducting long-term research projects among indigenous peoples in Malaysia and North Africa, and is an advisor to DANIDA, UNSO, the Sarawak Museum and World Wildlife Foundation on different matters.
